A determinate hybrid suited to open field production for the fresh market.
Late maturing, approximately 90 days to first pick. Harvesting will be over a period of 12 weeks.
A semi-determinate growth habit. Plant height can vary between 1,5m and 1,8m. At least 3 - 4 wired are necessary to trllis the plants effectively. A plant population of 17,000 - 21,000 pl/ha is optimal for summer plantings, in-ro spacing should not be less than 35cm between plants.
STAR 9006 has a very high quality uniform fruit with an average weight of between 150 - 170g.
HR: Verticillium Wilt (Va,Vd), Fusarium Wilt (Fol 2), Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV).
IR: Root-knot Nematodes (Ma, Mi,Mj), Alternaria and Powdery Mildew.
