- Well adapted variety
- Balanced plant
- Big fruit size
- Fol:3, TMV, TYLCV and TSWV resistance
Indeterminate saladette.
It’s a good early-medium maturing variety. The first fruit will mature around 80-85 days after transplanting. Days to maturity may vary due to environmental conditions that may delay maturity.
RILEY has a strong stand and plant framework, making the variety balanced and well adapted to warmer weather conditions.
Depending on spacing the variety can be planted between 13 500 - 15 000 plants per hectare. It is an open field variety requiring normal trellising. Not pruning will help reduce fruit size.
RILEY is a firm, large, attractive, egg-shaped fruit with an average mass of 140-170g. It is well balanced and maintains its fruit shape and size. RILEY does reduce its fruit size when no pruning practices are carried out.
RILEY has an excellent disease resistance package, with good fruit size in comparison to STAR 9081.
