A grey hybrid pumpkin with a vining growth habit.

Maturity:

90 days in summer, 100 - 110 days in cool winters. WARRIOR should only be harvested once the fruit stem develops cork-like cracks and loses most of its’ green colour. Storage for 2 weeks after harvest will result in darker flesh and less under-skin greening.

Plant Characteristics:

Semi-bush growth habit. Can be planted up to 7,000 plants per hectare. Quick maturing.

Fruit Characteristics:

Large, deep-flat, light grey fruit. Average size of 5kg with slight ribbing. Small seed cavity, thick shoulder flesh and small blossom-end scar. Very good size to weight ratio. Light skin colour makes WARRIOR less prone to sunburn than some other varieties. Flesh is deep orange, thick and very firm, with excellent keeping quality.
